Qualifications

• Possession of a Certificate of Registry as a plumber by the State Board of Health.
• At least ten years experience performing plumbing and sanitation work.
• Six months experience in ensuring compliance with laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receives and approves applications for plumbing permits and coordinates inspections.
• Inspects underground and roughed-in plumbing per approved plans and standards.
• Performs facilitating inspection services to control water and sewage related diseases.
• Investigates complaints, notifies and coordinates with owners and other agencies.
• Cites violations and conducts follow-up inspections; may testify in court.
