Benjamin Franklin Plumbing of Lawrenceville & Dacula is looking for a motivated Plumbing Helper / Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level role offers hands-on training alongside licensed plumbers and a clear path to advance into a Plumbing Technician.

You will assist with residential repairs, water heaters, piping, and service projects, while keeping a clean, safe jobsite. A valid driver's license, reliability, and willingness to learn are required, with growth opportunities based on

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, construction, maintenance, or other hands-on trades preferred.
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic hand and power tools.
• Punctual, reliable, motivated, and willing to learn.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces, outdoors, and on ladders.
• Follow instructions, apply what you learn, and work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with residential repairs, installations, and service work
• Help with water heaters, repipes, water lines, sewer/drain work, fixtures, gas piping, and other plumbing projects
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Assist with digging, demolition, pipe installation, and jobsite cleanup
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas
• Learn plumbing systems, installation methods, safety procedures, and code requirements
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members

Pay & Growth

• $18–$22 per hour, based on experience and skill level
