Job summary

Van Marcke Trade Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Specialist for our West Tucson location. You will greet customers, answer questions, and help them locate plumbing and hardware items to meet their needs.

The role includes receiving, stocking, pricing, and maintaining a clean store, while performing POS checkout duties. The position requires a High School diploma (some college preferred) and retail experience.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Previous experience in a retail environment.
• Possess product knowledge of hardware-related and/or plumbing products and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends to meet business needs.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions and locating merchandise.
• Support receiving, stocking, pricing and maintaining a clean, orderly store.
• Work in a store POS checkout environment and process transactions.
