Job summary

Van Marcke Trade Supply is seeking a friendly Ace Hardware Sales Associate for its Mesa, AZ location. You will help customers, assist with sales, and keep the store clean and organized.

The role requires knowledge of hardware and plumbing products, a flexible schedule, and the ability to travel to other locations if needed. Prior retail experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is required. Stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Previous retail experience in sales or merchandising.
• Knowledge of hardware and plumbing products, and willingness to learn.
• Flexible work schedule including weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to travel to other store locations if required.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions and locating merchandise.
• Handle receiving, stocking, and pricing of all merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and orderly store, including the sales floor, stockroom, and outdoor merchandise area.
• Assist with merchandise resets throughout the store.
• Perform key-holder duties as needed.
• Comply with store policies and regulations.
• Follow additional duties from store management.
