Job summary

Van Marcke Trade Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service in our Tucson-area stores. You will assist customers, help locate plumbing and hardware products, and support receiving, stocking, pricing, and maintaining a clean, well-presented selling floor.

Responsibilities include operating the POS system, ensuring stock levels, adhering to safety procedures, and collaborating with store staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a retail environment either in sales or merchandising roles.
• Possess product knowledge of hardware-related and/or plumbing products.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekday and weekend shifts.
• Willingness to travel to other store locations as needed.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Aiding customers by answering questions and helping locate merchandise.
• Assisting in receiving, stocking, pricing of merchandise and maintaining a clean store.
• Working in a store POS checkout environment to complete sales.
• Maintain proper merchandise stock levels, placement and presentation.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and participate in regular meetings and audits.
• Support in keeping the store clean, including trash removal and restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned by store management.

We are a family-owned Belgium company that is passionate about the success of our customers and our team.Working as a Counter Sales Specialist is rewarding and engaging. You are responsible for coming to work as a friendly associate ensuring each customer receives amazing service following the Van Marcke standards. Aiding customers by answering any questions they may have and helping them locate the merchandise they are looking for. Assisting in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and helping maintain a clean and orderly store.
