Gilder Search Group in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman with Medical Gas experience to lead commercial and healthcare construction projects. You will supervise field crews, coordinate installation activities, and ensure compliance with codes and project specs for medical gas systems.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in commercial plumbing, 2+ years leading crews, and familiarity with medical gas piping, hospital construction, and BIM layouts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience.
  • 2+ years of experience leading crews as a Foreman or Lead Plumber.
  • Experience installing and supervising medical gas systems.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare construction requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with local plumbing codes and industry standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise plumbing crews on commercial and healthcare construction projects.
  • Coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules and productivity goals.
  • Install, oversee, and inspect medical gas systems including oxygen, vacuum, nitrous oxide, medical air, and specialty gas systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, shop drawings, and BIM layouts.
  • Plan manpower, material needs, equipment requirements, and workflow sequencing.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and inspectors.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and verify installations meet project requirements.
  • Assist with project scheduling, manpower planning, and progress reporting.
  • Train, mentor, and develop plumbers and apprentices.
  • Participate in project meetings and maintain daily field documentation.

Plumbing Foreman - Medical Gas - $40-$50

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Foreman with Medical Gas experience to lead commercial and healthcare construction projects throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. This role is responsible for supervising field crews, coordinating installation activities, maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, and overseeing the installation of medical gas systems in compliance with applicable codes and project specifications.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with commercial plumbing systems, hospital and healthcare construction, medical gas piping, and crew leadership.

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
