Job summary

Concord Engineering Group seeks a Plumbing and Fire Protection Engineer II in Voorhees to lead design of plumbing and fire protection systems for diverse markets within a collaborative design team. Some projects may require Engineer of Record signing and sealing.

The role supports coordination across disciplines, uses Revit for design and checks, and involves field surveys, pre-bid participation, and construction support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7–10 years in Plumbing and Fire Protection design with sustainable/green emphasis.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Revit and BIM implementation.
• PE licensure is preferred or you should be working towards licensure.
• Knowledge of local, state and code requirements.
• USGBC LEED knowledge is a plus.
• Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering calculations and sizing of components; prepare single line diagrams and specifications.
• Sign and seal drawings as Engineer of Record where required.
• Review projects to ensure compliance with client requirements and budget.
• Use Revit to design, layout, and check drawings per codes and standards.
• Provide direction to engineers in training and other staff.
• Conduct site surveys and attend pre-bid meetings; provide field support as needed.
• Support project execution, client management, and proposals.
