Job summary

Bassett Services in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Plumbing Field Supervisor to lead our Plumbing, Drains, and Water Quality team. You will coach technicians, ensure quality workmanship, and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of residential plumbing, a strong leadership background, and an active plumbing license. You will coordinate installations, pull permits, mentor staff, and help drive safety and efficiency on job sites.

Bassett Services is looking for an experienced Plumbing Field Supervisor to help lead and support our growing Plumbing, Drains, and Water Quality team in the Indianapolis market. This role is ideal for a highly skilled residential plumbing professional who enjoys coaching technicians, ensuring quality workmanship, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and support daily plumbing and drain operations
• Coordinate plumbing installations and oversee project execution
• Pull permits and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
• Conduct truck inspections to maintain organization, safety, and readiness
• Provide technical training, coaching, and mentorship to plumbing technicians
• Perform job site visits to ensure quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
• Handle customer escalations and run service call-backs as needed
• Partner with leadership to improve operational performance and team development
• Support a culture focused on safety, accountability, and customer service excellence

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum 8 years of residential plumbing and drain experience
• Previous leadership, supervisory, or mentoring experience preferred
• Active plumbing license preferred
• Strong technical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of residential plumbing installation, service, and drain systems
• Experience handling customer concerns and resolving escalated situations
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and support multiple technicians in the field

Top Candidates Bring:

• Residential and light commercial water quality experience
• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, or similar field service management software

Compensation & Benefits:

• $75,000 - $110,000 annually (Base Salary + Performance Bonus)
