Job summary

Valley Plumbing Heating & Cooling in West Jordan, UT is seeking an experienced Excavation Technician to join our hands-on team. You’ll dig trenches, install sewer laterals and water lines, and work in confined spaces while following plans and safety rules.

About the Role:

We’re looking for experienced Excavation Technicians who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. This role involves more than operating equipment—you’ll be in the trenches working on sewer laterals, main water lines, and other essential services. What You’ll Do:

What We’re Looking For:

• Familiarity with sewer laterals, water mains, and excavation techniques.
• Knowledge of tools like sewer cameras, missile/mole, and lining equipment.
• Ability to dig and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL license preferred but not required.
• Service plumbing experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Comfortable with digging, kneeling, crouching, and working in trenches.
• Capable of lifting and carrying heavy materials.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and balance.
