We are seeking an experienced Plumbing Excavation Sales Specialist/Camera Professional in St. Louis to operate camera and locating equipment within our Plumbing Underground Department. Requirements

1. Operate camera equipment to assess line conditions
2. Use line locating equipment for accurate mapping of Sanitary, Storm, and Water line systems
3. Listen to customer needs, assess, and develop solutions to meet their needs and wants
4. Create accurate, complete proposals that can be easily transferred to our Fulfillment/Service teams
5. Build rapport with customers and support them throughout the buying process
6. Learn and understand city requirements, permits, and regulations
7. Partner with our fulfillment/service and customer experience teams to ensure success
8. Be organized, motivated, flexible, and a team player
9. Communicate clearly and confidently with customers throughout the experience, keeping them informed
10. Adjust communication style to provide the best customer experience
11. Document detailed job notes in the customer’s account for future reference
12. Share thoughts and experiences with coworkers in meetings and one-on-one interactions
13. Be open to trying new ideas and suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
14. Maintain frequent communication with dispatchers regarding job status for scheduling
15. Keep a clean and organized workspace in customer properties and company vehicles
16. Work safely and promote safety among team members
17. Sales experience is preferred; technical experience is not required
18. Previous in-home service experience is highly desirable
19. All employees must prioritize safety, adhering to OSHA and federal/state requirements as applicable

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

This role requires sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, handling controls, hearing, and talking regularly. Employees must reach with hands and arms, climb ladders, and work outdoors in various weather conditions, including in small crawl spaces. The ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs is necessary. Vision requirements include close vision and focus adjustment.

The work environment varies seasonally and by scope, with outdoor work required year-round. Employees will experience interruptions and changing priorities and must communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
