Job summary

Building Team Solutions Direct Hire Dept is seeking a Plumbing Estimator/Project Manager for commercial Austin projects. You will drive takeoffs, bids, and coordination with design teams to ensure accurate scopes.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in plumbing estimating and project management, strong communication, and proficiency with estimating software and BIM. Relocation support is available for the right fit.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of plumbing estimating/project management experience.
• Solid grasp of plumbing systems, codes, and construction phases.
• Excellent communicator with plans, specs, and client expectations.
• Tech-savvy and organized – proficient in estimating software and spreadsheets.
• Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the bid pipeline: manage estimating schedules, analyze bid documents, maintain quality opportunities.
• Interpret and price complex scopes: develop takeoffs and duration plans from drawings and specs.
• Communicate with clients to confirm scope, raise constructability issues, submit proposals.
• Manage change: estimate plan revisions and cost impacts; assist with scope changes.
• Support smooth project launches: assist Department Head in hand-offs and start-up planning.
• Keep leadership informed on market trends by monitoring commodity prices and material costs.
• Coordinate with design/BIM to ensure scope is well represented and modeled.

We’re seeking a sharp, experienced Plumbing Estimator / Project Manager to join a top-tier construction team in Austin, Texas. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our pipeline, driving project success from pre-con to closeout, and keeping our teams set up for smooth execution.

Who You Are:
