Job summary

LeoForce, a growing Mechanical and Plumbing Contractor serving Residential, Multifamily, and Commercial customers in the Northern Virginia/DMV region, is seeking a Plumbing Estimator with mid-level experience to prepare accurate and competitive estimates.

You will review plans, perform quantity takeoffs, develop project pricing, and collaborate with preconstruction, project management, and operations teams to support bids and profitable project execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating experience within Plumbing, Mechanical Construction, or a related Construction Trade
• Experience performing Quantity Takeoffs from Construction Drawings, Plans, and Specifications
• Strong understanding of Plumbing Systems, Materials, Equipment, and Installation requirements
• Experience developing Labor, Material, Equipment, and Subcontractor Cost Estimates
• Ability to review Bid Documents, identify Project Scope, and develop accurate Project Pricing
• Experience with Estimating and/or Takeoff Software such as Bluebeam, QuoteSoft, PlanSwift, or similar
• Ability to manage multiple Bids, Priorities, and Deadlines

Job Details

As a Plumbing Estimator, you will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive Estimates for Plumbing Construction Projects. You will review Plans and Specifications, perform detailed Quantity Takeoffs, develop Project Pricing, and work closely with Preconstruction, Project Management, and Operations Teams to support successful Bids and profitable Project Execution.

MUST HAVE

• 3+ years of Estimating experience within Plumbing, Mechanical Construction, or a related Construction Trade
• Experience performing Quantity Takeoffs from Construction Drawings, Plans, and Specifications
• Strong understanding of Plumbing Systems, Materials, Equipment, and Installation requirements
• Experience developing Labor, Material, Equipment, and Subcontractor Cost Estimates

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience Estimating Commercial and/or Multifamily Plumbing Projects
• Experience with both New Construction and Renovation Projects
• Knowledge of HVAC or broader Mechanical Systems
• Experience soliciting and evaluating Vendor and Subcontractor Pricing
• Experience supporting Projects from Preconstruction through Project Management handoff
• Familiarity with Value Engineering and identifying cost-saving opportunities
