Job summary

The Romanoff Group in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Plumbing Estimator to join a 100% employee-owned team focused on quality in new housing construction. You will prepare estimates, coordinate vendor quotes, manage bid documents, and support successful project awards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in estimating or construction in Multi Family and 2+ years in plumbing construction, with experience in digital takeoffs, Bluebeam, and Wrightsoft. Strong organization and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating in Multi Family construction.
• 2+ years of plumbing construction experience.
• Experience with digital takeoffs and estimating software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bluebeam is preferred.
• Wrightsoft or similar estimating software experience is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Review bid documents, construction plans, RFIs, and addendums.
• Prepare accurate project takeoffs, equipment counts, and material lists.
• Estimate installation labor and project costs.
• Request and evaluate vendor quotes and follow up on pricing discrepancies.
• Maintain bid and RFQ logs, tracking projects through bid, award, or loss.
• Communicate with general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Follow up on submitted bids and coordinate project handoff meetings.
• Ensure proposals and project documentation are accurate and complete.
