Job Details

We are in search of a Plumbing Engineer to join our Washington, DC office. This is an excellent opportunity to lead exciting and complex projects. Our office environment offers a supportive, team-based approach and wealth of opportunities to stretch professionally.

Main Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prepare schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Design mechanical systems including heating, cooling, heat rejection, air distribution, ventilation, air conditioning, building automation, and controls.
• Deliver projects across multiple delivery models, including design/bid/build, design assist, design build.
• Process contractor submittals, RFIs.
• Use technology and methodologies to create innovative approaches to building design.
• Manage multi-disciplinary teams on projects related to Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, and Science & Technology.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
• P.E. License.
• 10+ years experience.
• LEED AP BD+C preferred.
• BIM experience.
• Current with appropriate codes and technologies.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Understanding of engineering systems within a specific discipline, advanced engineering principles, and calculations.
• Record of consistent quality work.

Salary

$90,000 - $150,000 per year
