Job summary

EXP seeks a Plumbing Designer/Engineer to join the MEP Plumbing Team in the U.S. South Sector, based in Orlando or Coral Gables, Florida, or Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to design plumbing systems for Gaming, Hospitality, Entertainment, Healthcare or Commercial projects.

You will work with a senior engineer, route and size plumbing systems, perform load calculations and equipment selection, and prepare schedules and drawings at SD-DD-CD levels. You may respond to RFIs/submittals and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in plumbing design.
• Strong REVIT MEP experience.
• Engineering or drafting degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design plumbing systems for Gaming, Hospitality, Entertainment, Healthcare or Commercial projects.
• Route plumbing systems and size appropriately.
• Perform load calculations and equipment selection.
• Prepare schedules, details, and fixture and equipment schedules.
• Understand SD, DD, CD level documents and deliver drawings at the appropriate level.
• Review Construction Administration items including RFIs and submittals; delegate tasks to junior designers.
