Job summary

Garver Engineering in Kansas City, MO is looking for a Plumbing Designer to support the Buildings Group by developing plumbing systems for diverse building projects.

You will design domestic water, sanitary sewer and roof/storm drain systems, coordinate with other disciplines, and assist engineers with detailed plans and specifications while adhering to QA/QC processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of building plumbing system design and construction experience.
• Knowledge of building plumbing system principles relevant to building designs.
• Proven experience with plumbing system designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite.

Overview

Plumbing Designer – Kansas City, Missouri. As part of the Garver Buildings Group, this role is responsible for developing plumbing designs in support of various Buildings Business Line projects, including leading the planning, design, and commissioning of building plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate building domestic water systems
• Design and coordinate building sanitary sewer systems
• Design and coordinate building roof and storm drain systems
• Coordinate with other support disciplines and regional offices
• Assist engineers in the plumbing system design of building projects
• Follow quality assurance and quality control plans
