Job summary

The Osborn Engineering Company in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Plumbing Designer/Engineer with 0–4 years of experience. You will report to the Manager of Plumbing and contribute to designs for building systems using Revit and plumbing software.

Responsibilities include designing plumbing and fire protection systems, calculating loads, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating with staff on projects across healthcare, commercial, and education sectors. An EI license is a plus.

Qualifications

0–4 years of plumbing system design experience.
Knowledge of plumbing design and load calculation software such as Revit.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proactive and collaborative team member.
Experience in Healthcare, Sports, Commercial, Public Sector, Industrial, Education, and/or Institutional projects.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering a plus.
EI License a plus.

Responsibilities

Design plumbing and fire protection systems under supervision of senior engineer.
Calculate loads, layout piping, and design DWV, domestic water, and drainage systems.
Prepare construction documents with technical staff support.
Review submittals and shop drawings for code compliance.
Assist in specifications and liaise with on-site visits.
