Blueprint Hires in Oakland, California is seeking a Plumbing Design Engineer / Drafter / Detailer to help deliver accurate, coordinated, and constructible plumbing designs for commercial construction projects. You will develop detailed plumbing drawings, models, and shop drawings while supporting projects from design through construction.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; PE license preferred.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, construction, and fabrication detailing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit; CADmep/CADDMECH or QuickPen experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and draft plumbing plans, layouts, specifications, and design details.
• Prepare detailed plumbing shop drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Review drawings to identify and resolve conflicts across architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Incorporate design revisions, field conditions, and project changes into drawings and specs.
• Coordinate with clients, engineers, and project teams to meet deadlines.
