Job summary

Pacific Rim Mechanical is seeking a skilled plumbing technician in Southern California. The role requires at least two years of relevant field experience, a valid driver’s license, and a clean DMV record.

Candidates should understand plumbing codes and be able to work independently or with a team. Strong communication with customers about technical issues is essential.

Qualifications

• Backflow certification preferred or required.
• Must have and provide a clean DMV report covering past 3 years.
• Must understand and comply with all safety and OSHA requirements.
• Ability to speak and write in English clearly.
• Experience with plumbing codes and fundamentals of sewer systems, water heaters, pumps and related equipment.

Typical Duties

• Backflow Certification required
• Must have at least (2) years of relevant Plumbing field experience
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have and provide a clean DMV report covering the past (3) years
• Must understand and comply with all safety and OSHA requirements
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must be capable of effectively speaking and writing in the English language
• Knowledge of plumbing codes
• Capable of working alone or on a team
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues
• Plumbing Trade school or college courses a plus
• Must understand the fundamentals of plumbing sewer systems, water heaters, sump pumps, recirc pumps, thermal expansion tanks, backflow prevention, soldering, hydro-Jetter and drain machine operation, etc.
• Must understand electrical troubleshooting

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications, & Experience

• Must have at least (2) years of relevant Plumbing field experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

• Must understand and comply with all safety and OSHA requirements. Authorized to work in the United States.

• Capable of working alone or on a team. Communicate effectively with customers regarding technical issues.

Salary Range

$30-55/hr. Based on Experience (FLSA - Non Exempt)
