Job summary

Jenkins Plumbing Company is seeking a dependable Plumbing Associate / Miscellaneous Laborer to support our plumbing operations in the warehouse and field. This position assists plumbers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors with a variety of plumbing, construction, warehouse, and general labor tasks.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, eager to learn, and willing to perform a wide range of duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior plumbing, construction, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn plumbing materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Load, unload, organize, and transport plumbing materials, tools, and equipment.
• Assemble, solder, and prepare tub and shower valves and other plumbing components.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse, job sites, vehicles, and work areas.
• Assist with deliveries and pickups between company locations, vendors, and job sites.
• Dig trenches, move materials, and perform basic construction-related labor as needed.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Assist with job site preparation and cleanup.
• Perform miscellaneous labor tasks including lifting, carrying, sorting, sweeping, and material handling.
• Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
