Qualifications

• Journeymen or Master Plumbing license required.
• Twenty-four months (4000 hours) of verifiable occupational experience as a fully qualified and licensed plumber, of which 2000 hours shall be within the previous five years.
• One year (2000 hours) of related occupation experience may be waived if the occupational instructor has at least two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within the last five years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver courses in multiple modes of delivery including modern classroom (F2F), online or hybrid/blended, and on-site training for external customers where applicable.
• Develop and deliver instructional design activities.
• Address and refer student concerns.
• Guide and support students on one-to-one basis outside the classroom as well as in classroom setting.
• Assist students in developing critical thinking skills to understand/apply concepts of subject matter to vocational, ethical, social, and personal practices.
