Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking a Plumber’s Apprentice to assist with diagnosis, repairs, maintenance, and installations of plumbing systems in commercial environments. You will work under supervision using hand and power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment.

Minimum requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a plumber's apprentice registration being advantageous, and basic math skills. Craft training is preferred, and you will maintain PPE and a clean, organized workspace.

Qualifications

• Possession of a valid or current Plumber’s Apprentice Registration is advantageous.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Craft training is preferred.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment.
• Must have basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper use of all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and safety equipment.
• Familiarizes oneself with project task safety plans, documentation, practices, and procedures and executes them during the workday.
• Conducts assigned daily job requirements with the utmost safety, quality, and productivity in mind.
• Collaborates with team members to layout, assemble, and install plumbing systems. Provides assistance to plumbers as required.
• Has and maintains required personal tools. Keeps tools and work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Summary

These systems may consist of pipes, fittings, piping systems, fixtures and equipment for heating, cooling, gas, steam, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial processing systems. Works with various types of tools, gauges, and measuring equipment under the guidance and direction from supervisor.
