Job summary

PMEP is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to support licensed plumbers across construction projects. You will gain hands-on training in installation methods, tools, and safety practices while developing foundational plumbing skills under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with fixture installation, pipe fitting, and material handling, while adhering to safety policies and code requirements. A strong work ethic and drive to learn are essential for career progression within the plumbing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Enrollment in or willingness to enroll in a plumbing apprenticeship program required.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in confined spaces or outdoor environments required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed plumbers with installation of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Support installation of water supply lines, drainage systems, and plumbing fixtures.
• Measure, cut, and assemble piping systems and fittings.
• Carry tools, materials, and equipment to job sites; stage materials and assist with preparation of plumbing installations.
• Follow all company safety policies and plumbing code requirements and use PPE.
