Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist journeyman plumbers with the installation of commercial plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and equipment.
• Help measure, cut, and assemble piping materials according to project specifications.
• Support the installation of water supply, drainage, and venting systems.
• Learn to read and interpret construction drawings and plumbing layouts.
• Maintain tools, materials, and work areas to ensure safe and efficient job sites.
• Follow company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines at all times.
• Assist with loading, transporting, and organizing materials on job sites.
• Participate in hands‑on training and skill development in the field.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a plumbing apprenticeship program or trade school (required).
• Interest in building a long‑term career in the plumbing trade.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented construction environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and follow directions from experienced plumbers and supervisors.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods.
