Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Support the layout and assembly of piping, fixtures, valves, and fittings.
• Practice proper tool use, material identification, and safe work methods.
• Work closely with journeyman plumbers and supervisors to develop proficiency.
• Attend required ABC classes weekly, typically in the evenings.
• Progress through a structured training program with regular evaluations.

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will:

• Apprentices work full‑time and receive raises as skills and training benchmarks are met
• All training hours count toward eligibility for the Journeyman Plumbing License
