DeMarco Plumbing in Poway, CA is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to learn from experienced professionals while supporting residential and commercial projects. You will gain hands-on experience, read blueprints, and assist with installations, repairs, and maintenance.

The role emphasizes a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, excellent communication, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Some extended hours may be required as you advance in the trade.

Formación

• Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test prior to employment.
• MVR report required – No DUIs or more than 2 points on driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Willingness to occasionally work extended hours to restore customer service.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Cut, assemble, and install piping while staying safe around existing infrastructure.
• Learn to read blueprints and plumbing plans.
• Safely operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment.
• Assist with drain cleaning, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with customers about work performed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
• Accurately complete timekeeping and documentation.
• Continue developing knowledge through hands-on training and mentorship.

What You'll Do

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you'll work under the guidance of experienced plumbers while learning the trade and assisting with a variety of residential and commercial plumbing projects.

• Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems
• Cut, assemble, and install piping while working safely around existing infrastructure
• Learn to read blueprints, drawings, and plumbing plans
• Safely operate and maintain plumbing tools and equipment, including pipe cutters, pipe wrenches, drain snakes, and hydro jetting equipment
• Assist with drain cleaning, troubleshooting, and plumbing repairs
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with customers regarding work being performed
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
• Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
• Accurately complete timekeeping and required documentation using electronic devices
• Continue developing technical knowledge through hands‑on training and mentorship
