Marv’s Plumbing & Heating is seeking Plumbing Apprentices in Cheyenne to support licensed plumbers with installations, maintenance, repairs, and replacements of residential and light commercial systems.

Qualifications

• Previous construction, plumbing, mechanical, or trade experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid apprentice license or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers with installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Gather, organize, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
• Load and unload company vehicles while ensuring tools and materials are properly secured.
• Dig trenches, cut pipe, drill holes, and perform other labor as directed.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install piping under supervision.
• Help diagnose plumbing issues and assist with repairs.
• Clean work areas before, during, and after each job.
• Communicate professionally with customers on job sites.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean working condition.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Fulfill on-call duties according to the department schedule.

As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will assist licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of residential and light commercial plumbing systems. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the plumbing trade while developing the skills needed to become a licensed plumber. The apprentice works under the direct supervision of experienced plumbers while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and exceptional customer service.
