High 5 Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to support licensed plumbers in installing, repairing, maintaining, and replacing residential plumbing systems. This role is designed for individuals eager to learn the trade and develop technical skills, customer service, and professionalism through on‑the‑job training.

Apprentices work under supervision, follow all safety standards, and participate in company programs that promote growth, hands‑on practice, and career advancement within the team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of residential plumbing systems and installation techniques.
• Ability to read work orders and follow installation instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50–75 pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces, attics, and under sinks.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and plumbing equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install residential plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
• Install water heaters, piping, water lines, and drain systems.
• Perform plumbing system upgrades, replacements, and new installations to meet codes and safety standards.
• Test plumbing systems to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at job sites.
• Communicate with customers professionally and explain installation work when needed.
• Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Complete required job documentation and installation reports.
• Work closely with dispatch and team members to complete projects efficiently.
