Job summary

Mr. Rooter LLC is seeking a plumbing service apprentice to install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial plumbing systems while learning under skilled technicians.

You will gain hands-on training, safety best practices, and customer service experience in a supportive team environment. The role emphasizes licensing preparation, advancement opportunities, and a four‑day work week with paid vacations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of work experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience.
• Physically able to perform plumbing duties.
• Proficiency with an iPad for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing equipment.
• Diagnose conditions, troubleshoot, and determine repairs.
• Identify materials and quantities for new and repair projects.
• Evaluate customer requests, provide estimates, and price projects.
• Follow established service system processes and procedures.
• Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer.

Specific Responsibilities With Training Opportunities In Each Area:

• Install, maintain, and repair existing equipment
• Determine condition of plumbing equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs
• Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects
• Evaluate customer requests, provide estimates, and price projects
• Follow established service system processes and procedures
• Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer

Job Requirements:

You will be asked to perform plumbing service, repair, installation, and maintenance services for residential, small business, and commercial customers.

Desired Experience:
