Job summary

Mr. Rooter Plumbing & Heating is seeking an apprentice plumber to join our team.

You will work under the master plumber to install, maintain, and repair equipment, perform drain cleaning, and learn through our paid apprenticeship program with on-the-job and tutoring for the test. Candidates must have 12 months related technical instruction with 3-4 hours/week on our learning platform, an apprentice license, and be physically able to perform duties, with a professional appearance and a positive,

• Apprentice license required.
• Physically able to perform duties of a plumber.
• Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology.

• Team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist the master plumber to install, maintain, and repair existing equipment.
• Perform drain cleaning and minor, non-complex service work on plumbing systems in commercial and residential environments.
• Determine condition of plumbing equipment, troubleshoot malfunctions, and determine needed repairs.
• Identify materials and quantities needed for new and repair projects.
• Evaluate customer requests and provide work order descriptions and price projects.
• Follow established processes and procedures.
• Operate with safety as a primary concern for self and customer.
