Job summary

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is seeking experienced Drain Cleaning Technicians to join our locally owned, fast-growing Southeast Michigan team.

You’ll perform drain cleaning in residential and light commercial settings, handle minor plumbing repairs, diagnose issues, and clearly communicate solutions and pricing to customers—delivering a professional, high-quality customer experience. We offer strong earning potential (65k–150k annually for starting pay, with higher earnings for experienced technicians),

Qualifications

• Experience in plumbing, sewer, drain cleaning, or a related mechanical trade is preferred—but not required.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in plumbing, sewer, drain cleaning, or a related mechanical trade is preferred-but not required
• A candidate who demonstrates mechanical aptitude, dependability, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• The ability to communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with coworkers, dispatchers, managers, and other members of the team
• A self-motivated person with a positive, professional attitude
• Pride in delivering clean, high-quality work
• The ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities effectively
• A valid driver's license with fewer than six points preferred
