Drain Kingz Plumbing, LLC is hiring a Plumber - Service Technician for our Midvale, UT team. This full-time role offers a base salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience, with a company-provided vehicle and comprehensive perks.

You will diagnose and repair residential plumbing systems, present service options, and ensure high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety protocols and company standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to cover a 50-mile radius around Salt Lake City.
• Ability to attend weekly in-office and on-site meetings.
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the position, including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain systems independently.

Responsibilities

• Assessing residential plumbing systems, diagnosing sources of issues, and developing action plans.
• Presenting service options to customers and upselling when appropriate.
• Performing high-quality repairs, maintenance, installations, and replacements in compliance with protocols and safety procedures.
• Preparing accurate cost estimates and building rapport with customers.
• Professionally communicating with homeowners and providing excellent customer service.
• Documenting work, taking photos, generating invoices, and recording payments.
• Cleaning the work area and ensuring a clean close-out.

THE INS AND OUTS OF BECOMING OUR PLUMBER - SERVICE TECHNICIAN

THE SCHEDULE:

Typical hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

YOUR ROLE:

• Assessing residential plumbing systems, diagnosing the source of issues, and developing the appropriate action plans
• Clearly presenting service options to customers and selling additional upgrades or replacements when appropriate
• Performing high-quality repairs, maintenance, installations, and replacements in compliance with company protocols, safety procedures, and industry regulations
• Preparing accurate cost estimates, building rapport with customers, and striving to generate additional sales when able
• Professionally communicating with homeowners and providing excellent customer service
• Documenting your work, taking photos, generating invoices, and recording payment information
• Cleaning your work area and making sure everything looks good before closing out the job

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years of residential plumbing service experience
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to cover a 50-mile radius around Salt Lake City
• Ability to attend weekly in-office and on-site meetings
• Ability to handle the physical demands of the position, including lifting 50+ lbs.
• Ability to accurately, independently diagnose, repair, and maintain systems

Our ideal Plumber - Service Technician has a journeyman certification, master plumbing license, or at least 3 years of experience. Proficiency in Housecall Pro (or a related field service program) is desired. Experience with preparing estimates, upselling services/upgrades, and servicing residential equipment, including water heaters or water softeners, would be a plus.
