Job summary

associacareers is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance on plumbing fixtures and systems across our community. You will handle toilets, faucets, piping, water heaters, boilers, and related components, following established procedures.

The role requires at least four years of plumbing experience, a minimum one year in general facilities maintenance, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Work is indoors with uniforms provided and no late hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Four years or more experience in performing all aspects of Maintenance Plumbing.
• One year of experience in general maintenance work, to include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain plumbing fixtures and systems across the community.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities as directed; may include mechanical, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents in private and common areas.

Job description

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform repairs and maintenance to all plumbing fixtures and systems (to include toilets, faucets, fixtures, all piping and drain systems, water heaters, boosters, PRV units, softeners, boilers, and all other phases of plumbing systems). Perform routine maintenance and general repair on the community and equipment to include plumbing, patch & painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc. as directed, in accordance with established procedures.

Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas.
