Job summary

Associa is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and routine maintenance of plumbing fixtures and systems throughout its communities in San Antonio, TX. The role covers plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical tasks, with duties extending to general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned.

The ideal candidate will have four+ years of plumbing maintenance experience and at least one year in general maintenance, including mechanical and electrical work.

Qualifications

• Four years or more experience in performing all aspects of Maintenance Plumbing.
• One year of experience in general maintenance work, to include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance to plumbing fixtures and systems (toilets, faucets, piping, water heaters, boilers, etc.).
• Conduct routine maintenance and general repairs on the community and equipment, including carpentry, electrical, and mechanical tasks as directed.
• Respond to maintenance requests from community directors and residents in private rooms and public areas.

Job Description

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform repairs and maintenance to all plumbing fixtures and systems (to include toilets, faucets, fixtures, all piping and drain systems, water heaters, boosters, PRV units, softeners, boilers, and all other phases of plumbing systems). Perform routine maintenance and general repair on the community and equipment to include plumbing, patch & painting, electrical, carpentry, mechanical, etc. as directed, in accordance with established procedures.

Maintenance Technicians will also perform general maintenance projects as scheduled or assigned and respond to maintenance requests by community directors and residents in both private rooms and public living areas.
