Join to apply for the Plumber (Licensed MA) role at GE Aerospace

Responsibilities include:

1. Layout, plan, install, maintain, and inspect complex plumbing and pipefitting work, including systems for steam, gas, air, water, vacuum, hydraulic equipment, and lines for hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, according to drawings, instructions, and codes.
2. Maintain quality workmanship with constant attention to detail.
3. Perform additional duties as assigned.

This role offers a starting pay of $37/hr and operates on 2nd shift.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Massachusetts Journeymen Plumbing License.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams.

Eligibility Requirements

• Ability to lift, move, or manipulate fixtures and hardware up to 40 lbs., with or without accommodations.
• Ability to work in confined spaces, off ladders, platforms, and heights.

Desired Characteristics

• Massachusetts Pipefitters Journeymen License.
• At least 3 years of industrial plumbing experience.
• Knowledge of safety rules in industrial settings.
• Problem-solving skills for plumbing issues.
• Customer interaction skills.
• Adaptability to new methods and customer needs.
• Proficiency with basic tools, machinery, and computer skills preferred.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and order materials.
