Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Layout, plan, install, maintain, and inspect complex plumbing and pipefitting systems, including steam, gas, air, water, vacuum, hydraulic equipment, and lines for hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen, following drawings, instructions, and codes, independently or with team assistance.
  2. Maintain high-quality workmanship with consistent attention to detail.
  3. Perform other duties as assigned.
  4. This role starts at $37/hr and operates on 2nd Shift.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  1. Massachusetts Journeymen Plumbing License.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
  3. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and diagrams.

Eligibility Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift, move, or manipulate fixtures and hardware up to 40 lbs., with or without accommodations.
  2. Ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, platforms, and at heights.

Desired Characteristics:

  1. Massachusetts Pipefitters Journeymen License.
  2. At least 3 years of industrial or manufacturing plumbing experience.
  3. Knowledge of safety protocols in industrial settings.
  4. Strong troubleshooting skills for plumbing issues.
  5. Good communication skills, both written and oral.
  6. Ability to adapt to new methods and focus on customer satisfaction.
  7. Proficiency with basic tools, machinery, and computer skills preferred.
  8. Ability to plan, schedule, and order materials efficiently.
