Job Position: Plumber

Location: Olympia, WA 98506

Pay Rate: $27.00/hr

Description: Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and drainage systems.
• Diagnose plumbing issues and determine appropriate solutions.
• Read and interpret blueprints and building specifications to map out plumbing installations.
• Test plumbing systems to ensure functionality and compliance with local codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects effectively.
• Respond to service calls and perform routine maintenance to prevent future problems.
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand and power tools.
• Provide cost estimates and timelines for plumbing work as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proficiency in using plumbing tools such as pipe cutters, wrenches, and threading machines.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, waste removal, and heating systems.
• Familiarity with local plumbing codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting heavy equipment, working in tight spaces, and standing for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
