Service Experts Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a skilled Plumber Level I to join our HVAC and Plumbing team in Jacksonville, FL. You will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, read blueprints and ensure code compliance.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, safety, and teamwork. You will mentor junior plumbers, coordinate with clients and contractors, and help deliver high-quality service on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; plumbing apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as Plumber Helper or Apprentice or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues or defects.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan layouts.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on project requirements.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Test systems for leaks and ensure proper functioning.
• Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior plumbers and helpers.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
