Job summary

PeopleReady of Eau Claire, WI is hiring a Plumber Assistant to support installation and maintenance tasks in plumbing systems. You will work on copper, cast iron, PVC/CPVC pipes and assist with fittings, testing, and basic installations.

Shift is 1st shift (Day); pay rate is $20/hour. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with one year of apprentice experience or three years for journeyman levels, and hold basic knowledge of plumbing maintenance. Growth opportunities with a nationwide team.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• Minimum one year of experience for apprentice positions; at least three for journeyman positions.
• In-depth knowledge of maintenance and repairs of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install pipe and fittings (copper, cast iron, PVC/CPVC) for drains, sewer, and gas lines.
• Use hand tools and cutters; cut pipes to required lengths; use threaders for threading.
• Install fittings and components above and underground; test fittings and connections.

Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour*

What you'll be doing as a Plumber Assistant:

• Installation of pipe and fittings for copper, cast iron, and PVC/CPVC pipes, and for drain, sewer, and gas lines

• Utilize hand tools and cutters to cut pipe to desired lengths and electric and hand threaders to thread pipe

• Install fittings and components above and in ground

• Test fittings and connections

Job requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

• Minimum one year of experience for apprentice positions, and at least three for journeyman positions
