Hunt Companies, Inc. is seeking a Plumber to perform preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance for commercial environments. The role involves installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and DWV systems, with emphasis on safety and adherence to codes.

  • Ability to work night shifts and be on call when needed.
  • Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.
  • Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facility.
  • Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing our firm with the best possible service to our clients.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
  • DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State required.

Responsibilities

  • Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures, including sinks, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals, and dishwashers.
  • Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals, clay, and plastic using hand and power tools.
  • Conducts daily activities like drain cleaning, soldering, brazing, repair and installation of DWV, installing toilets, water lines, P-Traps, repair of water leaks, repair/replacement of valves, faucets, sinks, etc.
  • Completes all documentation required in compliance with CMMS.
  • Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Performs work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Maintenance, OSHA, and our clients.
  • Maintains a clean and safe workplace while and after performing tasks.
  • Provides training technicians in unlike skillset some basics of your trade provide mentorship, oversight and direction.
  • This position requires driving for the Company using either a Company vehicle or a personal/rental vehicle for company business more than 50% of the time.

A Brief Overview

The Plumber will be responsible for both preventive and corrective plumbing maintenance work and minimal installations with our client.

What you will do
