The role requires a valid Master Plumber license and experience with commercial plumbing, including night shifts and on-call duties. CMMS documentation and collaboration with the team are integral to operations.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a current state Master Level Plumber license.
  • 1-3 years commercial plumbing experience.
  • Minimum 2 years maintenance experience in plumbing for commercial environments.
  • Able to work night shifts and be on call when needed.
  • Able to read blue prints and drawings.

Responsibilities

  • Performs master level, skilled plumbing work in installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures and systems.
  • Provides technical skills required of a Master licensed plumber for installation, alteration, maintenance and repair to assist with facility management and operation.
  • Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, valve fittings, grease traps, fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems.
  • Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water lines, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
  • Completes maintenance work orders and documentation in CMMS.
  • Reads blue prints and drawings.
  • Maintains safety standards and a clean work area.
  • Provides training or direction to technicians as needed.

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients.

A Brief Overview

CGL Facility Management, LLC provides comprehensive contract facility maintenance services to commercial clients. The Master Plumber will install and oversee all plumbing related functions at the facility.

What you will do
  • Performs master level, skilled plumbing work in the installation, maintenance and repair of plumbing fixtures, water leaks, gas leaks, sanitary and storm lines.
  • Provides technical skills required of a Master licensed plumber for the installation, alteration, maintenance and repair of the plumbing systems and related accessories, to assist with management and operation of the facilities in a cost-effective manner.
  • Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, valve fittings, grease traps, fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.
  • Installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, water lines, toilets, showers, commodes, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals and dishwashers.
  • Completes all documentation required in compliance with CGL’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Conducts preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
  • Reads blue prints and drawings.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures and according to the standards of CGL Facility Management, OSHA, and our clients.
  • Maintains a clean and safe workplace while and after performing grounds keeping tasks.
  • Complete all required compliance, safety and developmental training as assigned.
  • Provides training, oversight, or direction to technicians in unlike skillset on the basics of trade.
  • This position may require driving for the Company using either 1) a Company vehicle, at any frequency from Rarely to Constantly; or, 2) a Personal or Rental vehicle to conduct Company business more than 50% of the time to perform work duties.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED Required or
  • 1-3 years commercial plumbing experience.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance responsibilities; minimum 2 years’ maintenance experience in Plumbing for commercial environments. Required
  • Must be a self-starter and motivated.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces is able to work night shifts and be on call when needed.
  • Ability to replace Automatic Sprinkler heads for sprinkler system.
  • Must become familiar with the design and layout of the facility.
  • Must be a team player, have strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to succeed while representing our firm with the best possible service to our clients.
  • Reliable and dependable attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
  • Ability to be on-call for after-hours emergency maintenance on a rotating basis.
  • Requires a self-motivated, team player who can multitask, and prioritize as well as demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact effectively with our clients.
  • Requires a current state Master Level Plumber's license
  • DL NUMBER - Driver's License, Valid and in State Required
