Our services are provided by six specialized units focused on weatherization, water efficiency engineering, lighting, airflow controls, HVAC, and infrastructure solutions.

Job Summary

ECM Holding Group, INC. is seeking a highly motivated Plumber based out of the Dallas, Texes metro area.

The Plumber role is a hands-on role responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for both drainage and water. The Plumber role will ensure all work meets stringent quality and safety standards while adhering to project timelines and budgets. This role involves significant travel, up to 100% of the time, for projects that may last two weeks or longer. This position requires physical stamina, a willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail. This is a dynamic role that requires extensive travel to various job sites, often involving both driving company vehicles and air travel.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair broken pipes, and clogged drains
  • Install underground sanitary, drainage, and water supply piping systems
  • Conduct the layout, assembly, and installation of pipe fixtures for water systems
  • Cut pipes and transport to project locations where they are required
  • Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system
  • Dig trenches/install pipes and piping fixtures for water or sewage systems
  • Fill pipes with resin or sand to prevent distortion and ensure they are steady during installation
  • Immense pipes in chemical solutions such as bleach and dispersants to remove oil, dirt, and scale
  • Mount hangers and brackets on walls to provide support for pipes
  • Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards
  • Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement tools
  • Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairs
  • Liaise with contractors, and other construction workers to ensure an effective plumbing system.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Completion of a vocational school certificate program, associate degree, or apprenticeship preferred
  • 1+ years of professional plumbing experience
  • Able to read technical designs and blueprints
  • Proficient with plumbing tools, materials, and equipment
  • Expert knowledge in piping and ventilation systems
  • Valid driver licenses required.
  • OSHA 10, if not certified must be completed within 30 days of hire date.

  • Ability to get the proper equipment or company vehicles to and from job sites

Physical Demands

Plumbers may spend long hours outside and in awkward positions which can cause physical discomfort and strain. The Plumber will be lifting and adjusting heavy objects, and will come in contact with sharp, hot and/or very cold supplies and equipment. The Plumber must maintain safety procedures at all times to avoid injury. Plumbers may also come in contact with potential poisons and gases that could cause injury or illness. Constant (67-100%) standing and walking. Frequent (34-66%), repetitive lifting of up to 50 lbs over shoulder height. Frequent (34-66%) moving of heavy equip.

Frequent (34-66%) bending, squatting and twisting. Frequent (34-66%) climbing and the use of ladders and scaffolding. Requires stamina to work extended hours.

Work Environment

While performing the essential functions of this position, the plumber will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including exposure to extreme cold, heat and humidity. Exposure to dusty, noisy jobsite conditions, fumes and some chemicals.
