Job summary

Sentara RMH Medical Center in Harrisonburg, VA is hiring a Plumber - Full Time Day schedule. This role inspects and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures across heating, water, gas and drainage systems, and manages medical air, suction systems, and medical gas piping.

It also covers maintenance of hydronic heating and cooling systems and requires Journeyman Plumbing Tradesman certification and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Education: high school graduate or equivalent; vocational training 240 hours.
• Journeyman Plumbing Tradesman certification required.
• Driver's license required.
• Experience: vocational training 240 hours or 4 years relevant experience; 3 years plumbing/steampipe fitting required.

City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital, located in Harrisonburg, VA, is hiring a Plumber - Full Time Day schedule

The Plumber/Steampipe Fitter is responsible for inspecting and repairing pipes, fittings, and plumbing fixtures related to the heating, water, gas and drainage systems. This individual will also be responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of medical air and suction systems, medical gasses to include the distribution, piping, and terminal connections in addition to being responsible for maintenance and repair of heating and cooling hydronic systems.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $32.96 - $50.09 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
