Job summary

Heartland Home Services is seeking a qualified Journeyman Plumber to diagnose, repair and install residential plumbing systems in Grandville, MI. You will ensure code compliance, safety, and customer satisfaction while maintaining tools and vehicle readiness.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving and mentoring abilities, with emphasis on teamwork and professionalism. You must live within 45 minutes of Grandville and pass screenings as part of our hiring process.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Plumber license preferred (or readiness to test).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability through company carrier.
• Ability to pass initial and random drug screenings and a national background check.
• Strong knowledge of residential plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift over 75 lbs, climb in and out of vehicles, and work in varying weather conditions.
• Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Grandville.
