Job summary

NetCentric LLC, an ASRC Federal subsidiary, is seeking a Plumber to join our team in Fairbanks, AK. This unionized role requires skilled trades experience and a commitment to safety and quality.

The plumber will maintain and operate plumbing, HVAC, wastewater and potable water systems, install and repair pipes and fixtures, read blueprints, comply with building codes, and work with general contractors and electricians.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of plumbing experience or Journeyman level.
• Unionized role requiring joining UA Local 375.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate plumbing, HVAC, wastewater and potable water systems.
• Install, repair and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
• Collaborate with general contractors and electricians.
• Follow building plans and blueprints; read rough drawings.
• Respond to and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Keep accurate records of time, work performed, and materials used.
• Preform preventative inspections monthly.

NetCentric LLC, an ASRC Federal subsidiary, is currently looking for a Plumber to join our team in Fairbanks, AK.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Perform all duties associated with the maintenance and operation of Plumbing, HVAC, Wastewater Treatment, Potable Water Treatment, Fire suppression equipment, and Oil-Fired Hydronic Boilers.
• Responsible for water filtration and softening systems, obtaining water samples for testing on a periodic basis, and monitoring and reporting on potable and wastewater holding tanks.
• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
• Collaborate with general contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals.
• Follow building plans and blueprints.
• Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
• Keep accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and materials used.
• Preform preventative inspections monthly.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and safety practices.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and rough drawings.
• Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, and copper.
• Attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic mathematics and conversion of measurements.
• Other duties, as assigned
• Experience requirement: 7+ years or Journeyman level
