Cedar Point Maintenance is seeking a skilled journeyman plumber to install piping for gas, water, sewer, air and related fixtures at our park in Sandusky, OH. The role requires strong troubleshooting and system maintenance capabilities and involves various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Applicants must hold a City of Sandusky plumbing license and be in the plumbers union. The job includes operating piping equipment and complying with safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Journeyman plumber required; must be in plumbers union.
• Ability to lift 51 lbs+ with assistance.
• Ability to push/pull 26-50 lbs on wheeled equipment.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of all plumbing systems.
• Steam and hot water boilers.
• Swimming pool, chlorination systems.
• Gas fired equipment.
• Winterizing of plumbing and pool systems.
• Operate equipment relative to piping systems (e.g., pipe threader, sewer auger).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety per Six Flag's Safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.

Joining our Maintenance Team means you'll be responsible for effectively installing piping for gas, water, sewer, air and other fixtures required. Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of all plumbing systems.
• Steam and hot water boilers.
• Swimming pool, chlorination systems.
• Gas fired equipment.
• Winterizingof plumbing and pool systems.
• Operate any equipment relative to piping systems i.e. pipe threader, sewer auger.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flag's Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift/carry: 51 Lbs+ with assistance
• Ability to push/pull (typically on wheeled device such as dolly or cart): 26 - 50 Lbs
• Must be a journeyman plumber in the plumbers union.
• Must have a City of Sandusky plumbing license.
• Works well independently or with others.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
