Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a mid-level Maintenance Plumber to join our team in Sandusky, OH. You’ll install piping for gas, water, sewer, and air systems and troubleshoot plumbing issues to keep facilities running smoothly.

The role requires a valid City of Sandusky plumbing license, union journeyman status, and the ability to lift 51 lbs+ with assistance. You must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holiday shifts and operate pipe threaders and sewer augers safely.

Qualifications

• Must be a journeyman plumber in the plumbers union.

• Ability to lift 51 lbs+ with assistance and handle manual tasks.
• Able to pass mandatory drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plumbing systems.
• Operate steam and hot water boilers.
• Manage swimming pool chlorination systems.
• Maintain gas fired equipment.
• Winterize plumbing and pool systems.
• Operate pipe threader and sewer auger as needed.
• Keep work area safe and report hazards per policy.

Joining our Maintenance Team means you'll be responsible for effectively installing piping for gas, water, sewer, air and other fixtures required. Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain plumbing systems.

Joining our Maintenance Team means you'll be responsible for effectively installing piping for gas, water, sewer, air and other fixtures required. Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of all plumbing systems.
• Steam and hot water boilers.
• Swimming pool, chlorination systems.
• Gas fired equipment.
• Winterizingof plumbing and pool systems.
• Operate any equipment relative to piping systems i.e. pipe threader, sewer auger.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flag's Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift/carry: 51 Lbs+ with assistance
• Ability to push/pull (typically on wheeled device such as dolly or cart): 26 - 50 Lbs
• Must be a journeyman plumber in the plumbers union.
• Must have a City of Sandusky plumbing license.
• Works well independently or with others.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
