Job summary

Cedar Point is seeking a Mid-level Journeyman Plumber to join our Maintenance Team. You will install piping for gas, water, sewer, air and other fixtures, troubleshoot, and conduct preventive maintenance across amusement park systems.

The role requires the ability to operate related equipment, work varied shifts including nights and weekends, and pass required background checks and drug testing according to policy. Union position with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be a journeyman plumber in the plumbers union.
• Must have a City of Sandusky plumbing license.
• Works well independently or with others.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test per Company policy.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain all plumbing systems.
• Steam and hot water boilers maintenance.
• Swimming pool chlorination systems maintenance.
• Gas fired equipment maintenance.
• Winterizing plumbing and pool systems.
• Operate pipe-related equipment (threader, sewer auger).
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area and follow safety guidelines.

Joining our Maintenance Team means you'll be responsible for effectively installing piping for gas, water, sewer, air and other fixtures required. Must be able to troubleshoot and maintain plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance of all plumbing systems.
• Steam and hot water boilers.
• Swimming pool, chlorination systems.
• Gas fired equipment.
• Winterizingof plumbing and pool systems.
• Operate any equipment relative to piping systems i.e. pipe threader, sewer auger.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Six Flag's Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift/carry: 51 Lbs+ with assistance
• Ability to push/pull (typically on wheeled device such as dolly or cart): 26 - 50 Lbs
• Must be a journeyman plumber in the plumbers union.
• Must have a City of Sandusky plumbing license.
• Works well independently or with others.
• Ability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
