The role requires diagnosing leaks, servicing water heaters where qualified, and coordinating with other trades during renovations or new installations.

Position SummaryState of the Art Healing is seeking a dependable, experienced Plumber Contractor to provide plumbing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair services throughout our facilities.The ideal contractor will have strong hands-on plumbing experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and workmanship. This position will play an important role in keeping our facilities safe, functional, sanitary, and properly maintained for our clients, staff, and visitors.ResponsibilitiesInstall, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.Diagnose and repair plumbing leaks, clogs, drainage issues, and water pressure problems.Repair and replace toilets, faucets, sinks, valves, pipes, drains, garbage disposals, and other plumbing fixtures.Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential problems before they become major repairs.Perform preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and equipment.Troubleshoot water supply, drainage, and wastewater systems.Repair or replace damaged or deteriorated piping and plumbing components.Respond promptly to plumbing service requests and prioritize emergency issues.Investigate water leaks and take appropriate action to prevent property damage.Assist with installation and replacement of plumbing fixtures and systems during facility renovations or construction projects.Perform basic water-heater troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs when qualified.Identify potential plumbing system failures and communicate repair or replacement recommendations to company leadership.Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, maintenance, and materials used.Provide estimates and communicate anticipated water damage, property damage, or other significant concerns to designated leadership.QualificationsProven experience working as a plumber or in commercial/residential plumbing.Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, drainage, and water supply systems.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and diagnose plumbing problems.Proficiency with common plumbing tools and equipment.Ability to read and understand plumbing diagrams, equipment specifications, and installation instructions.Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple service requests.Strong communication and customer-service skills.Reliable transportation and ability to travel between State of the Art Healing facilities as needed.Ability to safely perform physically demanding plumbing work.Preferred QualificationsCurrent plumbing license appropriate to the work being performed.Experience with commercial plumbing systems.Experience with water heaters and related equipment.Experience with commercial or multi-unit facilities.Experience with plumbing renovations, remodels, and new installations.Experience working in healthcare, behavioral health, residential treatment, recovery, or other commercial facilities.Familiarity with applicable local and state plumbing codes and regulations.Experience responding to emergency plumbing situations.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work in various positions for extended periods.Ability to safely climb and work from ladders when necessary.Ability to lift and carry plumbing tools, equipment, pipes, fixtures, and materials.Ability to work in confined spaces, mechanical rooms, crawl spaces, and other areas associated with plumbing systems.Ability to work indoors and outdoors and in varying environmental conditions.Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.Contractor ExpectationsProvide reliable, timely, and professional plumbing services.Maintain all required licenses, certifications, insurance, and permits applicable to the work being performed.Supply appropriate tools and equipment necessary to complete assigned work.Obtain approval before performing work outside the agreed-upon scope.Clearly communicate project timelines, material requirements, unexpected issues, and repair recommendations.Complete work safely,
