Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Chief Solutions Architect to lead AF-PLM enterprise architecture at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The role entails defining a comprehensive PLM strategy, enabling a digital thread, ASOT, and full lifecycle data management across Air Force systems.

You will guide DoD-aligned integration, translate operational needs into PLM capabilities, and lead senior stakeholder collaboration with SAF-AQ, AFLCMC, and industry partners to advance digital engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret.
• MBSE, PLM, and digital engineering experience in defense.
• Deep knowledge of DoD acquisition frameworks and MBSE methods.
• Familiarity with Air Force mission systems and lifecycle sustainment.
• CMII or similar configuration management certification preferred.
• Experience supporting AF-PLM or USAF/DoD initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AF-PLM enterprise architecture aligned with Air Force strategy.
• Define and drive AF-level PLM strategy enabling digital thread and ASOT.
• Guide integration of PLM with enterprise systems while respecting DoD standards.
• Translate needs into PLM capabilities supporting readiness and modernization.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, acquisition, and sustainment.
• Represent AF-PLM in industry, academic, and DoD forums.
